Breaking up with someone is the hardest thing…and doing it online…it’s the bluest of blue hell.
Well, for the past weeks, I felt like dealing with a superficial entity. No text replies and lots of alibis.
I know I had my own share of being the complete asshole but I tried to be the best. It’s just that, it hurts to be defined something I’m not.
I know what I’ve done and I know what I’ve said. But shit happens and this time, it’s on me.

...not much
Saturday was fine until I went home late for some meeting. *sigh. I don’t know but I’m getting this “Emptiness” again. I decided to take a walk from the office to Ilustre, thinking that I could just divert to something.
…and still, I ended up buying some Capt. Jack Sparrow’s DVDs.

Cliff Burton's 20th Death Anniversary
Today is the 20th Death Anniversary of Cliff Burton, Metallica’s greatest bass player.
He had made 6 major tours with Metallica and 3 studio albums (Kill ‘Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets). He’s just way beyond time. You can really feel the genius of him when you listen to the albums. He’s just great.
Because of him, Metallica has made it this far.
Anyway, here’s “Orion”, played at Seoul, Korea with Robert on bass (They’re getting emotional playing Cliff’s song *sniff). Just listen to the music and know Cliff’s style.

...tourney, party, atbp.
Finally, DULA’s tourney had ended. We’re all exhausted and very much dried up. From tournaments to event organizing, our spirits never let us down.
It was truly a great time to play and have fun with the disc addicts. Friends from Holy Cross, Ateneo, UIC and Mulatto just gave their hearts out. It was truly the best event so far for DULA. Everyone just can’t wipe the fun out of their faces. Disc addicts are truly PARTY PEOPLE!!!
Well, lots of lessons learned. But one thing I’ve always proven to myself many times...”It may not be the best for somebody or everybody (the pessimists and the “rational” trying to equate the parameters of the creative) but it may BLOW THE BLUE HELL OUT OF THEM. What seem to be the “been theres” doesn’t really fit the person they think they’ve been there…They’re just light years behind their used to be best.

An Ultimate Weekend
My weekend was the best weekend so far. I was with my Ultimate Friends and we really had a great time re-learning Ultimate with our Ultimate Trainor and Friend, Jason Lopez (wow!!! J.Lo)
Even though we’ve been playing Ultimate since April 2006, we’ve learned so much from the master himself. We had to re-do what we had learned and doing it again the right way was fun.
Yes, the sun was blistering hot but it never stopped us from learning the sport. It was all worth it. The throws, the plays and the drills really made our outlook for the sport somewhat “professional”.
In my case, I’ve come to realize that what I used to define as “stress reliever” has become my passion. I’ve never been excited in my life to play and learn. I exerted much of my effort and I’m very happy that I have somewhat experienced the luxury of learning the sport that I love.
A Perfect Layout
This is our Ultimate Trainor, Jason Lopez (aka J.Lo).
Grabe!!! Thanks for the time and being patient on the field. We have learned so much for 2 days. You have really helped us go for more.
Thanks for the "Muscle Memory".

So Sad
I got my copy of Trivium’s new album “The Crusade” last Wednesday and uploaded it to my iPod.
* Whoa! * I’m just disappointed. With all the media and the metal community waiting for the “Greatest Trivium Album To Date”, it failed to meet my expectations.
I’m not in authority to say this but in blue hell, it was like a copy of Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets.

The Battle of Thermopylae

I just can’t wait for March 2007. *sigh.
Remember “The Last Samurai”? Pareng Tom had this on his conversation with Pareng Ken…
They must have read Frank Miller’s novel. Haha

It's me and Ipe at Bantay Bata 163 Davao Radio Prog
October 3, 2006. Yes!!! On the radio for Davao Ultimate. Even topics on parenting... hahaha... UNEDITED VERSION!!!
…what in heaven’s blue hell
I don’t know but I’m starting to dislike some people. I used to like them as if they were that good in handling pressures and the way they see other people.
We have done our work just to get things a level higher but in blue hell, we just can’t understand the logic they have been. Yes, they’ve seen some people who did great but what used to be grand doesn’t even fit to our standards. I’m not saying that we have the monopoly of great ideas; it’s just that, our idea wasn’t even given a chance. The contract has been presented and it’s SUBJECT TO NEGOTIATIONS (Yes! Contracts are not made instant). I don’t know but we just got a GREAT BIG NO. *sigh. I expected a counter offer, not a lousy rejection.
Does hustle sounds familiar?
*sigh.

Vodka like Water
Kat’s party was great. Thanks to the people who were there to party.
Juan just got those vodkas on anything. I just love his concoctions. We were drinking vodka like water.
*sigh. It was a great way to wash my sore throat.

DULA and Bantay Bata 163 MOA Signing
Yesterday was very fun. The DULA-USTD and Bantay Bata 163 Davao had finally signed contract for the computer sets DULA would be donating.
Everyone was in high spirits as we had forged the agreement on papers. We were all laughing as if it was not a serious business.
As Alice would say, “This is the most fun contract signing Bantay Bata has.”
And in the afternoon, Ipe and I were guest for DXAB 1296 Bantay Bata 163 Davao Radio Program.
